The body was that of a Young Man with a length Approximately 174 cm and he was Well Built and Fairly Muscular. It is difficult to Estimate His Weight Due to large Areas of Tissue Loss.â¦The Soft Tissue From the Right Side of the Scalp and Lower Part of the Right Side of the Face, the Anterior and Lateral Aspects of the Neck, the Anterior Chest Wall up to the Ribcage. The Left Half of the Chest Showed Intact Skin. There was Tissue Loss from the Right Upper Arm, the Whole of the Abdominal Wall and all Abdominal Organs Except for Part of the Liver, Prostate, Part of the Bladder and a small Piece of Rectum. There were Large Areas of Tissue Loss from the Pelvis and the Thighs up to the Knees, a Large Area of Tissue Loss was Present on the Lateral Aspect of the Left Lower Leg Involving the Middle Third of the Lower Leg. A bruise was found on the Right Shin Measuring 4X2.5 cm. On Turning the Body Over, there was Extensive Loss of Soft Tissue from the Mid Back, the Buttocks and the Thighs Up To the Back of the Knees and the Right Upper Arm. There was Skin and Soft Tissue Present on the Upper Back and Shoulders Showing Superficial Scrapes.â¦The External Genitalia was Completely Lost Together with the Soft Tissue on the Pelvis. Burseth described to Noey the condition of Kentonâs body the first time he saw it as having been fed upon from the waist up. When asked specifically by Noey if the pants were still on, Burseth answered, âIt looked like they were.â Keep in mind that he only observed the body in this first instance from a distance in the dark with a flashlight. Burseth was also present at the final position, and he noted that much more feeding had occurred since he had first viewed the body. When asked by Noey about the condition of the body at its final location, Burseth answered, âWell, I believe there was more ahâ¦âcause when we picked up the body, it wasâ¦there was no clothes right down to theâ¦like to the knees, the flesh was gone and when I first seen it, it didnât look like as much.â
Roughly a third to half of Kentonâs body had been consumed. If he weighed seventy kilograms before the attack, he certainly did not weigh that amount while he was being dragged. Most of the feeding on Kentonâs body would have occurred at the original site rather than at the site where the body was ultimately located.
